Affiliate Disclosure
How StackWise may be compensated for software recommendations, and the standards we use to protect editorial independence.
StackWise may earn a commission if you purchase or sign up through certain links. This does not increase your price, and compensation does not determine our recommendations.
Who operates StackWise
StackWise is a product of The Hemphill Group, LLC (collectively, “StackWise,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We provide software discovery, workflow guidance, comparisons, and AI-assisted implementation roadmaps for small businesses.
Our financial relationships
Some links on StackWise are affiliate, referral, or partner links. If you click one of these links and create an account, begin a trial, make a purchase, or complete another qualifying action, we may receive a fee, commission, credit, or other benefit from the software provider or its partner platform.
The amount and structure of compensation can differ by provider. A provider may pay a fixed amount, a percentage of revenue, a recurring commission, or a fee for a qualified lead. Unless we expressly state otherwise, using one of these links should not increase the price you pay.
How recommendations are selected
Our goal is to recommend products based on their fit for the workflow, business constraints, implementation effort, capabilities, and expected cost described on the relevant page. Commercial availability is not the same as suitability, and a commercial relationship does not guarantee placement or a favorable recommendation.
- We may recommend products that do not compensate us.
- We may decline to recommend a product even when an affiliate program is available.
- Compensation may influence which outbound links are available, but it should not determine the order, description, or conclusion of an editorial comparison.
- Sponsored content or paid placement, if offered, will be labeled separately and prominently.
What our recommendations mean
A “StackWise pick,” suggested stack, comparison, cost estimate, or roadmap is informational guidance, not a guarantee that a product will meet every business, technical, legal, financial, accessibility, security, or regulatory requirement. You should verify current features, contract terms, renewal prices, data practices, and integration requirements directly with the provider before purchasing.
Prices, offers, and availability
Software prices and promotions change frequently. Amounts shown by StackWise are estimates based on information available when the content was reviewed. Taxes, add-ons, usage charges, user limits, introductory discounts, annual commitments, regional pricing, and renewal prices may not be included. The provider’s checkout page and contract control.
Third-party responsibility
A purchase or account created through an external link is a transaction between you and the third-party provider. StackWise does not control that provider’s product, billing, availability, security, support, refunds, or contract performance.
Where disclosures appear
We intend to place a concise compensation disclosure near recommendations or outbound purchase links when a material relationship may exist. This document provides additional detail but is not intended to replace a clear, nearby disclosure on the recommendation itself.
Corrections and questions
If you believe a recommendation, price, disclosure, or commercial relationship is described inaccurately, please notify us at hello@stackwise.studio. We may review and correct the content, but we cannot guarantee a particular response or outcome.
